How to issue new credit cards for your colleagues as an admin.

Important

  • To ensure that you do not experience any problems when issuing new credit cards, the steps must be carried out exactly in sequence.

Note

  • These instructions only apply to Circula credit cards (this is the case if you signed the contract for credit cards between July and December 2024).

  • To find out whether you are using Circula credit cards or Pliant credit cards, you can either take the brand from your physical cards or refer to the contract date.


How do I issue a new credit card as an admin?

1. Inviting the user to Circula

If the user for whom the credit card is to be issued has not yet been invited to Circula, they must be invited first. To do this, click on “User Management” and then on the yellow plus button at the bottom right.

Move the slider under the “Credit cards” section to the right-hand side.

Now you can invite the user by clicking on “Send invitation”.


2. Adding the phone number by the user

In order for a user to be issued a credit card, they must enter a valid phone number on Circula.

3. Assigning an existing user on Circula as a cardholder

If the user has already been invited to Circula and has entered a phone number, you can grant them the rights as a credit card holder under “User Management”.

To do this, click on “User Management” and then on the name of the respective user.

Make sure that the slider, located under the “Credit cards” section, is on the right-hand side.

Then click on “Save”.


4. Adding credit card admins

New credit card admins must be added via Pliant. To do this, log in to your Pliant account.

Click on “Invite Member” at the top right.

Add all the required information and select the “Admin” option from the drop-down menu. Then click on “Next”.

On the following screen, give the admin the required rights and click on “Send invite”.


5. Issuing credit cards

Credit card admins must issue the new credit cards via Pliant. To do this, log in to your Pliant account.

Click on "Issue new card" at the top right.

Select the name of the user for whom you would like to issue a credit card. Once you have selected the type of credit card, click on "Next" and follow the instructions.
