Resubmitting annual public transport tickets

Learn how to resubmit monthly recurring tickets (yearly tickets) in the Circula App.

For regional public transport subscription tickets, it is possible to resubmit them in the Circula App monthly with just a few clicks.

For which types of annual tickets can this feature be used?

✅ the usual annual tickets for public transport in Germany

❌ Deutschlandticket / 49€ ticket

Please note that the resubmission of annual tickets cannot be used for the Deutschlandticket / €49 ticket, as it can be cancelled on a monthly basis. It is therefore a monthly ticket per se and can be submitted as a benefit in our app every month.

Submitting a recurring ticket in the Web App

  1. Open your Circula Web App and go to the Benefits tab.

  2. Click on the yellow plus button on the bottom right corner of your screen and select "Mobility".

  3. Upload the ticket from your computer or storage. If you're happy with the receipt, click on "Next".

  4. Now select "Regional public transport".

  5. Below the mobility option, you can now see the "Subscription ticket" toggle.

  6. Click on the toggle next to it, to mark this ticket as a recurring ticket. By doing so, your ticket will be pre-saved for the next month.

Submitting a recurring ticket the next month in the Web App

  1. The next month, when you want to resubmit your ticket, go to your Benefits tab and click on the yellow plus button.

  2. Now, the option of "Resubmitting last month's subscription ticket" will show up below the Benefits.

  3. Click on this option and you can review the ticket receipt submitted by you as the recurring ticket. If you are satisfied with this ticket, click on "Submit".

  4. (49€ Ticket: please add the new receipt of that month in the recurring submission and click on "Submit").

  5. Done, you have now submitted your recurring ticket for this month!

Adding a recurring ticket in the Mobile App

  1. Open your Circula App on your mobile phone and go to the "Benefits" tab.

  2. Tap on the yellow plus button on the top right corner of your screen and select "Mobility".

  3. Take a picture of the ticket or upload the ticket from your storage or picture gallery. If you're happy with the receipt, tap on "Next".

  4. Now select "Regional public transport".

  5. On the bottom of the screen, you can now see the "Subscription ticket" toggle.

  6. Tap on the toggle next to it to mark this ticket as recurring. By doing so, your ticket will be pre-saved for the next month.

  1. The next month, when you want to resubmit your ticket, go to your "Benefits" tab and tap on the yellow plus button.

  2. Now, the option of "Resubmitting last month's subscription ticket" will show up above all Benefits.

  3. Tap on this option and you can review the ticket receipt submitted by you as the recurring ticket. If you are satisfied with this ticket, tap on "Next".

  4. Now review your submission and tap on "Submit".

  5. Done, you have now submitted your recurring ticket for this month!
