At a glance

  • Sometimes your submitted benefits may be rejected. The rejection always includes a reason, which you can view.

  • If it is a reason that can be corrected by you (e.g. the food was not marked correctly), you can resubmit the benefit.

How do I know that my benefit was rejected?

If one of your benefits has been rejected, you will receive a push notification from the Circula app. All rejected submissions are provided with a rejection reason by our team. This gives you the opportunity to amend or correct your submissions.

Note

  • Even though you can submit benefits up to the 3rd calendar day of the following month, we recommend that you submit them on a daily basis. Otherwise, you may not have time to amend or correct the benefits you submitted later, if they are rejected.

When you open the Circula app and navigate to your benefits, you will see the rejected benefit with the amount €0.00 and a red dot. These have the status "Rejected".

Where can I view the rejection reason?

When you click on the rejected benefit you will be able to see the reason why it could not be approved.

Requirements

Please note that Circula does not make the rules, but adheres to applicable tax law requirements when controlling and approving submissions. You can read more about these here:
