At a glance

  • Credit card holders can manage their credit cards directly in Circula.

  • They can view their credit card details, block, unblock or cancel cards and view their PINs in the "Credit cards" > "My cards" tab.

  • In the "Credit cards" > "Transactions" tab, you will find all credit card transactions and can submit automatically generated expense drafts.

Cardholders can manage their virtual and physical credit cards* directly in the app. For example, you can view your credit card information, block or cancel the card, view transactions or, of course, create expenses.

Prerequisites

  • Before the first credit card can be issued to you, you must provide and confirm a valid cell phone number for security reasons. You can find detailed information on registering your cell phone number in our article "Registering your cell phone number".

Show Card Details

Cardholders can view the details of their credit cards (card number, date, CVV) in Circula. To do this, navigate to the "Credit card" tab in the Circula mobile or web app and to the "My cards" tab.

  1. To see the details, please click on "Show card details". A 6-digit code will now be sent to your cell phone by SMS.

  2. Enter the correct SMS code. This will be confirmed after a brief check.

  3. You can now view your card details. You also have the option of copying your card number. To hide the card details again, click on "Hide card details".

Locking, unlocking and terminating a card

Cardholders can block, unblock or cancel credit cards in Circula. To do this, navigate to the "Credit card" tab in the Circula mobile or web app and to the "My cards" tab.

Locking a card

This function makes it easy to temporarily block a card if a credit card holder cannot find the card and suspects that it has been lost or stolen.

  1. Navigate to the card you want to block.

  2. Click on "Lock card".

  3. A confirmation message appears. Click on "Lock card" to block the card.

Please note that locking a card will block all new transactions and subscriptions.

If it is confirmed that a card has been lost or stolen, please terminate it.

Unlocking a card

Cardholders can easily unlock cards that they have previously locked themselves. To do this, click on "Unlock card" and the card can be used again immediately.

Terminating a card

If a card has been lost or stolen, or if a card is no longer needed, credit card holders can cancel the card.

  1. Navigate to the card you wish to cancel.

  2. Click on "Terminate card".

  3. A new window will appear. Please enter the reason for canceling this card here.

  4. A confirmation message informs you that a canceled card can no longer be reactivated and used. Click on "Terminate card" to cancel the card.

Show PIN of a physical card

For some payments with a physical credit card, the PIN of the card is required. Credit card holders can view the PIN of physical credit cards in Circula at any time. To do this, navigate to the "Credit card" tab in the Circula mobile or web app and to the "My cards" tab.

  1. Navigate to the physical card whose PIN you want to display.

  2. Now click on "Show PIN". A 6-digit code will now be sent to your cell phone via SMS.

  3. Enter the correct SMS code. After a brief check, it will be confirmed.

  4. Your PIN will now be displayed.

Please always cover your screen when displaying your PIN to protect your card details from the environment.

PIN entered incorrectly 3 times

If you enter your PIN incorrectly 3 times in a row, your card will be automatically locked. Credit card holders can reactivate physical credit cards in Circula. To do this, navigate to the "Credit card" tab in the Circula mobile or web app and to the "My cards" tab.

  1. Click on "Unlock card".

  2. Your card is now enabled for online payments again.

Offline transactions must be activated again at an ATM:

  1. Insert your blocked card into any cash machine (ATM).

  2. The ATM will ask you to enter your PIN directly. Enter the correct PIN.

  3. You can then remove your card. Offline transactions are now enabled again.

View transactions and submit expenses

For every transaction made with a credit card from Circula, a draft is automatically created in the "Expenses" tab. Each draft expense automatically contains the following information: Merchant, Invoice Date, Amount & Currency.

To view your credit card transactions, navigate to the "Credit Card" tab in the Circula mobile or web app and go to the "Transactions" tab.

  1. Click on "Submit expense" to submit a credit card expense.

  2. You will be redirected to the automatically created expense draft in the "Expenses" tab. There you can add the receipt and any other missing information and then submit the expense.

Tip

You can also find all draft expenses to be submitted in the "Expenses" > "To-dos" tab. There you can also click on the expenses directly, edit and submit them.

My card is lost or stolen

Important

  • If you suspect that your card has been stolen or that you have lost it, please terminate your card immediately.

  • It is crucial that you submit the reason of the termination, either as "My card was stolen" or "I lost my card".

  • After you have terminated the card, you need to report the issue to Pliant (support@pliant.com).
